Everything you want in a western: gunfights, great voice acting, a revenge story, gambling, and hookers.

Gun is a game with a great western feel to it. One thing I like about this game is that it pulls no punchs. This game has the swearing, brief nudity, gore, blood, torture, coruption, gambling, alcohel, and a griety reality that was known in the west. This is perfect cause this how the west really was and it just adds to that realistic feel.
Story: The story is of Colten White, who is a mountain man, that hunts with his father Ned for skins and meat to sell at Dodge City. As Colten and Ned are on a the ferry to Dodge City, the ferry is attack by a preacher and his group of confedate soldiers now turn bandits. The preacher kills a friend of Ned that is hooker (you can just what kind of friend I mean), but why he did this is latter revealed in the story since this action was done right before the bandits arrive. Ned saves Colten but dies saving him. Colten is out for revenge and is out to piece the puzzle on why this happened, with the only lead being a brothel/taven in Dodge City Ned told him to go to before he died. The story is full of twists and turns so I won't spoil anything, but it is good.
Gameplay: The game is free roaming shaft lock western shooter. So your right anolog stick controls where you point your gun. You engage in multiple gun fights where you are greatly out numbered. One or two shots can kill a enemy, but what makes the game have a cool feature is that if you shot an enemy in the leg they will not die but instead fall to the ground, and with the arm they kind of turn around or their arm will be shot back enough that they will lose their aim at you for a second. Of course with head shots their heads blow up, too. So it matters where you shoot them. Colten has an ability that is like the slow motion part of john woo movies where the player enters a first person mode with his pistol and then he can flick the left anolog stick left or right and the pistol locks onto the enemy and can kill him easly. All of the shooting talks away from your health, lucky Colten can regain health but drinking alcohal. This is really funny to me cause one gulp can heal your entire health, so if you are shot with a shotgun then cut with an ax with a drip of health you just have to take a sip of whisky and BOOM, you are ready to good... I really want what he is drinking. Enough with the shooting onto the free roaming game with horses. The thing is that Colten don't really steal these horses off of anyone. You get the horse of two things finding them (outside of the bar or on an open field) or off of the multi people that try to kill you (which is easy). You control the horse with basic horse funtions, jumping, running, stomping (like on enemys). You make the horse run by hitting the horse with your spures with L2 button, the more you press L2, the faster the horse goes, sadly this also takes away from your horses health. There is a good sized map with a small town, a mediam city and a lot of terrain.
Graphics: It was good for the time, but it could look a little better, but there is attention to detail.
Sound: The sound is great. The voice acting is PERFECT. They showed exactly how a western actor should. This gun sound like western guns instead of modern guns which is great. The music is something out of a western, like The Good The Bad and The Ugly.
Bad:
-The game story was close to being normal length but only cut it to 10 hours, but the side missions added another 5 to six hours.
-The game is easy all the way until the last 3 missions, but those last missions are hard.
Final thoughts: This was a great game western game. This is the western game in to play. It is one of my favorite games and western feel is perfect and makes you feel like a badass.
