Brutal, nasty and violent open world game.
THE WILD WEST.
You take the roll as a ruthless hunter who goes by the name as Colton White and your on a road for revenge. Basically your hunting animals with your papi and you learn about the games mechanics and learn to fight and use the analog quickdraw system while shooting down quail. After that a preacher shows up on a steamboat and murders a **** called Sadie and then orders these Renegades to kill everyone on the boat and recover a stolen item. Your Father is then murdered and from there on you have to fight through two towns and find out who wronged you. You get to learn to ride a horse and shoot from a horse. There are two very basic things you need to master to complete the game. 1: Be able to shoot. 2: Be able to ride a horse. 3: Be able to shoot and ride a horse at the same time. What's also useful is that you can upgrade skills with money you get from missions and side-missions and you'll be dominant on your way to the top.
THE VIOLENCE
Gun has some disturbing cut-scenes such as Josiagh Reed (Preacher) Has his ear cut off. And the gameplay violence where you get a headshot and the head fragments get sent flying everywhere, scalping peoples hair even when there bald, you can shoot someones limbs off with a shotgun and sharpshooter, horses heads get blown off if there caught in explosions.
Basically you can create mayhen everywhere. All is nasty and it is not for the fain of heart and squemish because this is violent, hence the M rating. Plus nearly every cut-scene even in gameplay swearing is crowded everywhere because Activision want to get that 18th-century feel so you can expect things like f**k, s**t and b*****d and all that kind of thing, so it's violent and sweary.
THE CONCLUSION
Gun is a great game, GTA fans will love this and so would other people. It is a bit short you can go through the missions in about three hours to six hours, the Side-missions will take about eight hours if you work on them continuosly. Very enjoyable and incredibly graphic so rent first if you want but defiantly check this game out.
