A Wild Wild West classic in the making....

User Rating: 7.1 | Gun PS2
It was said by a huge amount of my friends at University about the sheer scale of Gun's gameplay, and the freedom of free roam unavailable in some games that match this genre so I had to buy it myself.

I'm not entirely an upto date PlayStation 2 Game Owner myself, I reguarly buy games that have been released months back, missing the static energy that the fans and press bring together, but I like Gun.

When I first turned the PS2 on, I didn't have the foggiest clue what I was getting myself into, I had been previously tipped off my a good friend who's got Gun about the awkwad control setup, I couldn't agree less, it took me over an hour to learn the entire control set.

The gameplay is interesting and whips that certain 'Western' atmosphere, ofcourse it will, it is a Western game, and it was set to beat RDR (Red Dead Revolver) out straight, to me it has. RDR was far too complicated and over-reported as a good game, it's clearly not.

I would have to say, I enjoy the Gun Upgrades you are entitled to when completing Side Missions and Bounty Hunter missions, the Shotgun has to be my favourite, and there's still about 20 other deadly weapons to unlock, and I can't wait. The excitement of feeling like your Big Bad John, startling bystanders and killing Indians and whatever enemy decided to come your way.

Reasonably pleased, the game has an edge thats for sure...
