I really liked the character design of the main so I bought this game for $4.99 from Gamestop. When I started playing it couldn't hold my interest past the 2nd level. While the animation style is excellent, and the story seemed interesting, it lacks any real gameplay beyond the same set of attacks. From what I could tell there were no combos and nothing beyond a basic attack, gun shot, and special attack. It was like playing a 3d version of an old nintendo side scrolling fighting game. I really wanted to like this game but can't recommend it to anyone, based on the paper thin gameplay. Just pick up Devil May Cry and you will have done yourself a favor.
