From begining to end GU is a amazing cinematic masterpiece that needs to be experienced. Honestly I am begining to lose faith in gamespots reviews. Gu offers a mysterious storyline that does not quite flush itself out to the light like most RPG's, but rather takes its time to slowly unveil little by little while still managing to in keeping you interested the whole way through. Im not really going to describe the intro simply because its something you have to see for yourself. It is very gorgeous and grand when it comes to cinematic visuals. When compared to the other .hack games, GU's has manage to expand on what was a fair formula from the other 4 games, and turned it into one heck of a fun time. The most noticible change in the game is the Battle system. Although at times it can get tidious, it seems to even itself up with the introduction to a battle mode called Re-Geki. Re-geki is a skill system that can be utilized in other ways then attacking like for freezing for a moment of thought, or enemy cancelation. Other thatn Re-Geki 2 other modes are introduced known as beast awaikening and demon awakening. Mostly these are just team attacks and powerups though. .Hack has always had an ah-inspiring music score and much like its predessesor G.U. does as well. The only real complaint I had wih the game is that its to short. I reccomend that everyone at least give it a try for yourself, Especially you RPG fans. Once again.....Watch that intro, its a good 30-50min depending on how long u take with your tutorial.
