The previous dothack games were seen by the public as a very "mixed reactions" game, some praised their amazing storyline and music, while others disliked it's repetitive gameplay, with the coming of this indirect sequel, many reviewers see it as the past games direct sequel and judge the game as if it were the .5 version of the last games, giving mostly bad ratings, this game offers many advantages compared to it's predecessors, but they only take on count the disadvantages, they don't tell you about the storyline, about the good music and even about the new combat system, which is different to the previous games not worst, so in conclusion, .hack G.U is a game that doesn't ask you to have played the previous games in order to enjoy it, you don't need to be an anime fan to enjoy it, so why take this factors to a so important level when making reviews, my opinion is, play the game, the rest is up to you.
