The G.U series takes a whole different approach to The World, but Reminisce stands out.

Unlike the first 4 games, GU by itself is quite a feat! Gameplay has changed, the voice overs (thank God!) have improved considerably and in general, the whole gaming experience provided in the second volume, Reminisce does not let down fans nor skeptic RPG-experienced gamers.

I will not lie when I say that gamers who aren't already fans of RPGs will hardly find the game enjoyable at first, but after the first four/five hours into the game they'll get their money's worth.

Moving on, the main character, Haseo, has now acquired his third form character-wise which absolutely delighted GU fans for it has that bad-ass quality that one carrying the title of "The Terror of Death" should posess and it certainly shows. New party characters are also introduced, namely Alkaid, who make valuable additions. The monsters are also harder to defeat, updated versions of Rebirth and new ones make their own appearance but nothing too exciting in that aspect.

The story development is what truly amazed/attracted gamers to Reminisce. More mystery arises, the number of Lost Ones and AIDA increase and so does the secrecy surrounding them. What really happens to them? How and in what shape do they exist? Is there a way to undo it?

Now we also see a more human side of the main character and a development in his interactions with the other characters in the game, we see the growth of a human being, almost.

One downside (yes, there are also those) would be the TERRIBLE voice-overs of gay or gay-like characters (that and Haseo crying)! Namely Hiiragi and Endrance, the voice-overs were so bad I actually had to turn down the sound whenever they spoke (except when Hiiragi was pissed)!
Nevertheless, Yuri Lowenthal did a marvelous job, as always with Haseo (again, one must ignore when Haseo cried - we all have our bad days).

I cannot forget to mention the lovable Grunties as well. In this volume you will meet Moon Tree's which is, by far, my favourite - you will have a good laugh with them.

Lastly, I must mention that if you thought that Ovan was mysterious before, well you haven't seen nothing yet! Sakaki and a new character, Nala, will also reveal quite a few surprises as well.

My advice: Buy it, play it and just enjoy the gaming experience by itself. Oh, and turn down the sound when Hiiragi starts talking.
