Good, but monotanous(still can't spell that)

The first part of the dot hack games has left me both joyful and deeply grieving. Being a big fan of the .hack//SIGN show, I felt extremely disappointed to find a lack of any traditional charachters or areas, but instead some game with .hack added in. Aura, she was only in the show for about twenty minutes, and only spoke for a few lines (no exagerration), but now she's everything. And where did "data drain" come from? The gameplay, while inovative was rather tedious and had a tendancy to aggravate me beyond belief. Storyline pitiful and rather uneventful compared to .hack//SIGN. Takes a long time to learn(get used to) and saddly enough, can be beaten within twenty hours... And yes, the fake MMO idea feals more like a really slow union. Stay away unless you're a diehard fan. Otherwise, it is still somewhat fun, you just have to give it time.
