great combination of games from the before time of games with crispy graphics

the first episode really tells you nothing of a story since you and alyx are trying to make a mad dash from city 17

the second episode is more like an open world game because you drive a car and can get out any time
but the game has a lot of quiet moments unlike the first like talking to characters and your mostly on your own and unlike the first Alyx relies on you to do the dirty work

best parts

1. GREAT graphics for the time

2. complex and smart enemies

3. some funny moments and jokes

the only down side is that the games have a bit of a cliff hanger ending so your stuck will playing multiplayer that not alot of people play anymore and since the levels start to be too easy if you play them again so you have to move on
