Im realy glad that they dont go and make full length games, which we wait on for years. The episodes realy make it like an interactive movie or TV series. Ep2 is realy fun. No honest, its fun! The dialog is alot more humoristic, you get some funny easter eggs and Alyx looks better then ever with the refreshed game engine. If your looking for dramatic changes, you can look ealse where. The weapons are still the same (yes even i hoped for the Portal device), the enemys are laregly the same as in Ep.1, appart from the "Hunters", which are like horse sized Striders, only alot more vicious. The setting also changes from the urban enviroment of City17 to the country side. So you'll see alot of villages and forests and consequently obandoned mines which are a litle agravating to play in. The game also features some nonsense moments (SPOILER ALERT!). At one point, you have to get the extract of ant lion larva. To do so, you have to get passed the ant lion guardian, which is like the ones you saw before, only bigger. For some reason, the Vort says you cant kill it...but when he getts the extract, the guardian has no role in it and you get to kill it in the end anyway...go figure. But all litle mind benders asside, its still a realy fun game, much like the previous episodes and a world away from the original HL. The series just getts better and better!
