Many improvements, some things are old but you don't get too bogged down into the old stuff cos new stuff is everywhere

User Rating: 9 | Half-Life 2: Episode Two PC
Half Life 2 is brilliant, Half Life 2 Episode 1 was a bit outdated with not many new ideas, but still pretty good and Half Life 2 Episode 2 brings us the sutff that we all loved.

First of all, the game is short and it would be nice if it were longer with many new aspects to explore, such as riding a helicopter or something similar.

Nevertheless, the game is absolutely wonderful. Just as soon as you get bored with the old foes, new come out. Some of these bugs reminds of the STARTROOPERS game which I liked even though many thought was rubbish. That doesn't mean this game is rubbish, I'm just saying some bugs remind of it.

It's also nice to have nature and huge views and open plan playing, as well as nice countryside and houses to explore.

At the end, the game leaves you wanting more but that is what a good game is supposed to do. It is a bit short, you can finish it in a day, I finished it in a day and a half and I;m a slow player and had an amazing number of pc bugs, such as the game crashing, not being able to quick load, I had to manually restart the pc about 10 times. Also, I had trouble walking around, it seemed that my character was in constant duck/get up motions giving the game earthqueakey feeling which I didn;t like put I'll pin that down to my pc and my graphics card and I probably need to formatt my pc, so I'm hoping these glitches don;t happen to everyone.

The graphics are gorgeous and some effects can compete with the most modern ideas. The game and characters are old so it does get a bit boring, but considering that 2 previous games have come out with similar enemies and same characters I must say that the developers have done a great job refreshing the game. This is an absolute must play and should sit along with the best games there are. I cannot give it 10 since I think many little improvements can still be made to the game so I am thinking whether to give it 9 or 9.5.

I'll have to give it 9 because I awarded Call of Duty 4 with a 9.5 and it does deserve a bit better mark. Episode 2 is pretty good and is a must play and I loved it, (I just finished it actually) but Call of Duty 4 gets the extra 0.5 because of innovation.

My marking system is as follows:

10 - Absolute Legend
9 - Must Be Played
8 - Excellent and Worth Your Time
7 - Worth playing if you have nothing else to play
6 - worh playing if you have nothing to play and are incredbly bored and have not got absolutely anything else to do. (Barely playable/enjoyable).

I don't give marks 1-5 as if a game starts sucking I don't finish it, so I only review the games that are barely playable (6) to the absolutely amazingly incredible ones (10)

I will also probably keep my reviews short as I don't like discovering too much about the gameplay. I only like to give my quick opinion and get on with life.

Best Wishes to everyone
