"Prepare for unforeseen consequences". Valve keeps series still refreshed, but at what cost?

User Rating: 9.5 | Half-Life 2: Episode Two PC
Yes, i know i have already reviewed the whole Orange Box. But I decided atleast to review HL2: Epsiode 2 alone (itself), we will see if I want to review other parts of Orange BOx also separately. You ask, is the episode 2 so good to review it separately, you believe me when I say yes it is!!

So, As you remember you finished the episode 1 by leaving with the train, ofcourse before it, you had to destroy strider. From my point of view Episode Two has the most spectacular level design. And now you areā€¦. You were heading outside of City 17, I say so because there happens a expected train crash, from here you are going to collect all your weapons again which you already had before the crash. You are going to find guns like crossbow, pistol, 6 shooter, gravity gun, grenades, rocket launcher, some sub machine gun, etc. But you know, Valve has always managed to make HL story so that new players can understand it. And who said that life has to be easy. But which makes playing this game fun and not so hard is another human, yes ofcourse im talking about Alyx Vance. Alyx is very lovely girl who you are going to care about, not only because she helps you out many times, but she is very wonderful character and has very terrific voice, very friendly. And AI is done so that when theres an insane action going on she never don't stand on your way. You two are heading to resistance headquarters to deliver information vital to the cause. But on your way something terrible happens, I got ta tell you I was very worried and I realized that Half Life has now taken more serious and darker side than before.
Half of the game you are spending with your good friends Vortigaunts. And you have to solve couple of puzzles which is great. You also will see and hear fantastic conversations presented by Alyx, Eli, Dr. Kleiner, and the return of the blowhard Magnusson, and ofcourse G-man ,. Everytime when I say his name I know that this is the main reason why I still play this game, c`mon Valve has kept this guy under cover over ten years now, still we have those questions, who is he, is Gordon free, what about this contract etc. His appearance in Episode2 were the best yet, "Prepare for unforeseen consequences" those four words play the very big role of this game especially in the final chapter. you will shoot many zombies, antlions .There's a new antlion that spits poison which takes a lot of life away with a single hit. And Hunters, which is the first time when you see those robotic things, and they play very big roll to make story even intriguing, I got to tell you they are scary, because just right when you thought that those new antlions are tough, then think again, you have to be very careful, visually these guys are really impressively designed. Valve has reintroduced so called cage car Which has made a couple improvements, including health,/weaponry finder (monitor) but going more to the end of the game its replaced with monitor which shows striders location, also now there is a a passenger seat where your fellow friend (Alx) is sitting. Graphically Episode 2 is beautyful compared to previous games, but stil I wish it could be better, Talking more about visual side then Valve has also made some significant improvements to their engine that allow for some really breathtaking moments that involve a lot of physical objects reacting in the right way. Usually when you see structures fall apart, you scream like WOW, unbelievable, movie like moments, just beautyful. One thing what I hate in episode 2 is those damn Loading times which are still taking away this 10/10 game award.

At the end of Episode2 you will meet Advisors which is actually the second time of the game when you encounter them, but I gotta tell you I was so blowed away because of the ending, I was like wtf?, why?, this isn't happening!!, I don't belive it.
Valve keeps series still refreshed, but at what price? with whos life?
