The one and only Dr Freeman. Impossible to beat this classic and I would absolutely recommend it above other games!!

I started playing this game a few years ago when I got ''The Orange Box'' and the first thing I thought of is 'where the hell is that crowbar'. Next thing I know is someone saying to me 'you left this behind Dr Freeman' and he dropped it at my feet. This, I thought to myself, is how it should be (and then got run over by a train - but that's not the point!!)
Later on in the story you do pick up some form of gravity gun thing and fling circular saw blades at 'people' and slice their heads off but I reckon we can pass that off as classic 'experimental technology'.
The protagonist, Dr Freeman, has been developed perfectly as a character and the types of foe he comes up against really puts him in his element. Even now I find myself anxious about what's round the next corner!!
I really do recommend this game if you prefer old-school action over modern hi-tech fighting and graphics. Who need HD when you have Dr Freeman?
