This game, simply, is awesome. The physics, graphics, story, controls and immersivness (if that was a word). The physics are great, everything has a believable weight and size. The physics play a big part in this game so they are important. There is even an entire level devoted to physics and even an entire game that uses half life 2 physics. The graphics are great, even for a low end system (such as mine, which has a Nvidia TnT 2, which is ancient). Story is amazing and you feel like your actually in the game, like when one of my allies smiled at me, I actually smiled back because I was so into the game. The controls are great and you can interact with A LOT of the objects in this game. This game is an amazing achievement in the gaming industry and you should definitely get it.
