Not having a 2,000 dollar computer system, I've never had the opportunity of playing an computer game. But behold, Half-Life 2 for the xbox, let their be light. But don't take my thoughts a just an overexcited guy that doesn't have to pay two grand just to play some games. I really feel that this was a great game, I though it was worth my money and then some. But one of the first issues that you hear with this game, is the load times. In all seriousness, the load times do suck. But i learned to live with that, for the trade of my precious 5 seconds is worth the extra amount of detail that this game provides. You feel that you are the character in this endeavor, and feel attached to the NPC's as if they were actually your friends (yes I do realize that they do not exist). If a game can do that, than you know it is good.
