Brings the essence of the PC version, but doesnt meet the standard.

User Rating: 8.5 | Half-Life 2 XBOX
Half-Life 2 was a grat game on the PC( if you had the $$$ to buy a new computer), and it is on the X-Box, but its missing some things that it should have been added when it was ported to the X-Box.

Gameplay: It has the usual FPS controls, move with joysticks, shoot with triggers etc. And it made a nice transition from the PC to the X-Box. The game has a nice feel to it and the controls work nicely with the X-Box controllers. 9/10

Graphics: On the PC, Half-Life 2 had some of the best graphics around, and it looks nice on the X-Box. It has the nicelt done enviroments, and the fantastically realistic character models, but it has a bit of a slowdown at times, which is a big let down. And there is way too many loading screens, they show up every 10-20 minutes depending on the level. Overall it was very good though. 9/10

Sound:It still has the excellent voice acting which is one of the best around in my opinion. It has the sounds of the guns, basically every sound effect you would want in a game. In other words the sounds rocks. 10/10

Value: With the lack of online play, co-op mode, or any multiplayer at all for that matter theres not much to be had with this game. The single player game is as good as it always was, but the load screens occur too much. With online play and multiplayer this would have been a much better title.

Valve should have just made a multiplayer mode and put the game on Live and this woulve been one of THE games to own this year, but I guess they were just lazy, but it was still a good game. 8.5/10
