This game is the greatest, I must have spent a good portion of my life playing it over and over again. But alot of people think this game and all of its kin are crap (though it received over 50 game of the year awards). Alot of its bad publicity must come from the fact that almost every version (hl1, opfor,bf,hl2,and aftermath) have all been delayed a year from each of their release dates. Anyway if your new to Hl you should probably buy the ps2 version though you can't get the updates off the net you get alot of other good things with it (since it's so dated now you can pick it up in a value bin for ten bucks (can$) so pick it up!
Half-Life hit the Playstation 2 in 2001 and gaming was at least for me changed after I played this game. This is a fantastic game one of the first games to be on the PS2 and one that no one will ever forget. Just an awes... Read Full Review
