Size clearly does not matter for this mini!

Ive never bought a psp "mini" in my life. But after seeing a few trailers and demos of Halfbrick Studios's Rocket Racing I finally convinced myself to purchase it. It only took a few minutes to download and runs clean and fluent. Its a racing game from a bid's- eye- view with over 15 various and amusing tracks.

The game modes consist of tournaments, campaigns, and quick race. Campaigns are little challenges you compete in. The object of the game is to win races, but grinding is vital. By turning on a wall your rocket flies at higher speeds. The longer you grind, the more velocity you gain. But beware, there is a slight learning curve! The first few tries you might slam your psp as frustration strikes before satisfaction but once you get that first 200 point grind and zoom past your opponent to take first place you will jump in joy and feel the adrenaline pump as you speed your way to victory.

The graphics are nice and show vivid billboards with ads displaying multiple Halfbrick games. This is a neat little feature which springs the atmosphere to life. The controls will take some time to learn but are mostly intuitive and the game never feels cheap. If you make a mistake, it its most likely your fault.

Overall, Halfbrick Studios' Rocket Racing is a great psp mini which can and mostly will last you over 7 hours. For 5 US dollars it is a clear bargain and should be picked up in the PlayStation by anyone!
