Halo 2 is probobly the best FPS as of right now. It is just simply fantastic. It is VERY addictive and once you get started playing you won't stop until you finish the whole campaign and when you are done having your break with that, you will start playing xbox live and feel like you could play for days. Let me start off with the few faults of the game. Number 1, the gameplay takes a don't fix what isn't broken approach, which for some people might be a good thing but in my opinion, it is good but bungie could have been a little more daring. They really didn't add any new gameplay elements as far as the campaign goes and as far as xbox live, it really has improved but they were very cautious. In addition to faults, the graphics aren't exactly top notch. some times you will see low resolution textures and then you might see it in high resolution. when it is in high resolution it really is very good, but there is a lot of lagging and pop ups occur very often. Now on to the great parts of halo 2. It is a trully amazing game. the multiplayer is probobly the best ever. first of all, there is no way anyone could cheat the system. no one could make their level go up without actually putting all the time and effort into it. second of all, there is almost no lag and the game is set up to allow you to make new friends and to keep the pace of the action going. On another note, the score of halo 2 is like no other. That i can honestly say is THE BEST score of any game ever. it is just simply fantastic. if you ever walk into a room now with halo 2 music playing, almost everyone will be able to say,"hey, thats halo music." in that area it has almost become like lord of the rings or star wars. i could go on and on about how great halo 2 is and why its so great, but i think you get the idea and i think im going to play a little, sorry a lot, more halo 2 right now. JUST GET HALO2 PERIOD. you won't regret it.
