It's good, but not as good as the first.

Gameplay: 8. Like the first, Halo 2 has great gameplay and an awesome storyline. There are a few changes though. Now in Halo 2, you have the ability to wield two weapons at the same time. This just makes killing the Covenant easier. Also, you get to play as the Arbiter (an Elite accused of heresy). During this, you have the chance to use the Plasma Sword seen in the first Halo, yet another change. The storyline is just amazing, right up before the end. I know, I know, everyone has heard of the lousy and mediocre ending, but I still have to say something about it. The ending was a shock. It was like someone coming to your house and shutting off your XBOX right before a major battle in-game and said "You can't play anymore." WHAT THE HECK?!?! Right?

Graphics: 9. Yes, the graphics are a little sharper in Halo 2 than in the first Halo, but that doesn't mean that they are better. Things just seem too cluttered or messy. I got lost many times because of the way the buildings/environments were built. I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but I didn't have that problem in the first Halo. Another thing... At random times during gameplay you get these watermarks of buildings, vehicles, or just about anything else. They get in the way of your view and most of the time are really annoying. The only way to get rid of them is to restart your XBOX.

Sound: 9. The sound is actually hasn't changed a whole lot since the first Halo. Great sound FX, no delays or anything like that. Everything sounds realistic, they sound like what they are supposed to sound like which adds to the satisfaction of bringing down an Elite.
