I think Bungie slept on their Laurels for this second iteration. Sure the multiplayer is said to be the best of any Xbox game (not very hard to do actually), but it seems that's where all the development went. The single player level design is terrible. There are none of the fantastic levels found in the first game. I bought an Xbox just for this game and now I regret it. If you have played multiplayer pc games, Halo 2 is nothing to write home about. You won't find anything here that you haven't seen before. I don't understand the furor it has caused in the community. Sure it's an entertaining game, but it is not the next Halo (he, he). If it were a first effort it woule be a good game. Compared to the first one I have to rate it at poor.
