Many people are going to claim I am a Xboy for giving this game a high score, but really, I have all the major consoles and a high-end PC, and I can honestly say this game is THE best I have ever played, ever. It's challengers, Half-Life 2 and GTA:San Andreas come close to it, but it is superior. So let's get started. Gameplay: Simply amazing, my favorite part of the game, single-player, is without a doubt a major achievement in gaming. Every level gives you something new to experience.The story is the best I've seen in a video game, with lots of plot twists, a sympathetic glimpse at the Covenant, this game prove that FPSs are not just mindless shooting. The multiplayer, online or LAN is spectacular, with tons of customization options. It's social and extremely fun at the same time. Graphics: Yeah, ok, the graphics aren't Half-Life 2 quality, but it is definetely one of best-looking games ever. A teeny bit of pop-in in some cutscenes is present, but it is hardly noticeable, and it is Bungie's first attempt at bump-mapping, so cut them some slack. But the water effects and character models are amazing. Sound: 5.1 sound effects are spectacular. Everything from the weapon sounds to the voices is wonderful. Voiceovers are great, and add extra dimensions to the great array of characters, definetely the best actors in video games. The music is brilliantly done, the ghostly theme of Halo is always a treat to the ears, they booked some good rock bands(excluding Incubus) for the soundtrack and fits well with the suituations, I can honestly say the music is the most beautiful and theatrical I've ever heard. Value: 50 dollars is a lot more than this game is worth, buy it already. Clearing a few things up, many people complain about the cliffhanger ending, but it's great to me, because it means in a shortwhile, I'll be playing the final entry in the series, blown away again. Anyone who hates this game is simply an idiot, needs therapy, or simply hates the Xbox because it is killing their favorite system in sales. You need this game.
