Halo 2 ruined the Halo franchise. The first game delivered awesome weapon tactics, amazing multiplayer on-system and an immersive storyline with all around good graphics, sound, and gameplay. Halo 2 definately did not act as a suitable sequel to what I call the #1 Console FPS of all time. The gameplay is moderately good on multiplayer except for the inablility to take down a more heavliy armed foe with lighter weapons 95% of the time. The story fell flat and would have been better as a 2 hour long cinematic movie. If you dont have xbox live or a few halo 2/xbox owning system-linkable friends then this game is not worth your money. Although the graphics in the levels and on the Master Chief are amazing the graphics on the other characters look like high-end N64 games. The sound effects are excellent with well executed voice overs. Being a huge fan of the first game caused severe dissappointment with this decent showing. Better luck next time Bungie.
