Combines FPS with futuristic Military-ish type gameplay

First, I am a 40 something game player. I am not the biggest fan of Halo but I do feel this is a very solid game. I also don't spend hours or days or weeks playing at a time. I am a casual gamer and sometimes you just need to pick up the controller and blow away some aliens. This not only does that but you almost get a patriotic feeling doing it as you get totally immersed into the surroundings, and you instantly feel you are the Master Chief.

With all the other reviews, I am sure I have nothing else to say about this that hasn't already been said so I will just add that this game lives up to all the hype and delivers. With the ability to have multiplayer online, or offline, the new addon with the multiplayer maps, this game continues to set new ground for what the XBOX is capable of.
