Good single-player and Mind-Blowing multiplayer!

Halo 2 is the sequel to one of the greatest and bestselling fps' of all time, how does halo 2 stack up to halo? Halo 2 definetly stacks up to halo, it has a new xbox live mode (the reason its so great) and many new weapons like the smg (i prefered the assualt rifle in halo) and the battle rifle which i preferred over the halo similar pistol simply because its more effective, fires faster and looks more deadly however it still has the same 2x zoom, there is the brute shot, a type of grenade luancher with a razor sharp blade at the end and can be fired around corners, there is the energy sword! I wished i could use it in halo when all those elites in the space station carry it but sadly you couldn't use it as it dissapears when the elites carrying it die, there is the beam rifle which is the covenant version of the sniper rifle, a rocket luancher that has a home in ability! There are new vehicles such as the guass warthog, the wraith and the spectre vehicles have been tweaked so now the ghost can boost and so can the banshee. However the biggest of all additions are the new dual wielding ability which allows you to fire two single handed weapons simultaneously however this ability disallows you to throw grenades, and also there is a boarding abilty which allows you to board a vehicle if your near by, press x and watch your player kick out the driver and take his place! It's very satisfying! Also there is a new health system.

The halo 2 story is good but you cant help feeling a little let down as the story of halo 2 cant even touch halo's story! It ends with a rather annoying cliffhanger too but you cant help feeling the end was supposed to make you more curious about the next halo.The gameplay is top-notch as with halo, the graphics are also very great and a big improvement over halo, the sound is also very good and the value is just PERFECT as the live mode will leave you playing it for 100's of hours and still not getting bored!
Halo 2 is a faithful follow up to halo and offers the same deep and varied features and i reccomend buying it with a xbox live subscription as you would definetly not want to miss its most amazing feature!
