the sequel to the best shooter in the world lives up to its expectations
Dont get me wrong, this would be an , 9.8 rated game from me if whilst playing it, the memory of its predeccessor hadnt kept shinning through. it seems somewhat rushed toward the end, which is partially understandable on bungie's part because desperate super-fans hated the notion that it would be put back in its release date.
As i say, if this game was the first in the series, it really would have done what the first did, as its a great game with brilliant AI, and a strong stroyline to go with it. a competive online community is quite active, despite them being a little immature. For me, a bad storyline makes a game not worth playing, as i see no point in it otherwise. i like to be challenged by the plots as well as the game, and it is that essentually what makes Halo 2 so outstanding in the world of gaming.
If i had to say what the best part in this game was i couldnt, for its all so immersive. the only thing i could say is that the best bits in general appear on the master cheif storyline, and before brutes appear instead of elites. the arbiter, despite being so much more "Kick ass" than master chief, suffers from what appears to be a sub storyline at the start against heretics which no one cares about.
