Best 1st person shooter I've played to Date.

This game is tremendous. The action is intense, the gameplay is crisp, smooth, and all the events in the game transition nicely from one to the next. The Master Chief, as usual, is equipped with the nice rechargeable energy shield which is crucial to your survival; not to mention a couple new weapons for him to use on the covenant/flood.

The only thing that keeps me from absolutely worshipping this game would be the lack of closure at the end. I understand that there is going to be a Halo 3, but the "teaser" from the closing scene left me feeling a little empty, as if the hours I had just spent playing the game were for nothing.

The single player is great, the multiplayer is equally as entertaining. The replay value on both is exceptional, not to mention the bonus features from the Limited Collector's Edition.

Bottom Line: If you have an Xbox, remind me why you don't have this game?
