Reecio_117 here read my review it should be gd but if you think it needs a bit of a polish plz leave a note on my page.
At first glance the game looked as if it was from outerspace the menus are easy to navigate and they look futuristic these menus are a step up from the HALO menus the look good they feel good better than the menues the first game brought the same picture in the background wheras this game has no funky picture which gives you a headache everytime you look at it also the soundtrack had got a new rock theame to it instead of the old opera one we have a new one which gets the heart racing but enough of that lets talk a bit more about the game itself.
Ok so what did we first notice well of corse the new garments the master cheif has got the new MJOLNIR armor this adds to the new crispness of HALO 2 so wot did we notice as we began to play the game for example the new health and sheild depletion it adds more difficulty to the game wear as in the first game you have the health bar in the sequal you dont when your sheilds are depleted your dead unless you find cover also the addition of the new dual wiled option wich means you dont find yourself having to spend countless minutes trying to choose which gun to take with you for thr journey ahead you can take both of them aslong as they are dual weildable that is also thier is a better choice of weaponsin this game with the addition of the covanant carbine and the SMG and the covenant also have a version of the rocket launcher and a sniper rifle and you will be glad to hear that we will be able to use the dreaded plasma sword and an upgraded assult rifle called a battle rifle which is equiped with a scope, but these weapons would be to effective against the old foe so bungie have added a new load of covenant and flood misfits and thrown the large brutes in to the mix to create levels full of new enemies to destroy.
The levels dont just have the new enamies to deal with they are also much longer than their predessors with lots more vehicle fulled fights with the addition of the new transport you will be glad to hear that we will now be able to drive the wraith which is the big covenant tanks from the first game and their is a new alien vehicle called the spectre which is the covenant version of the warthog which has a giant alien plasma cannon mounted on the back.
the story line is basicly you start off as the master cheif and you have to aid earth which is under attack by the covenant.
The mulitiplayer option for xbox live is outstanding aswell but it is useless to describe the addictiveness of it so your just going to have to find out for yourself.
I think this is an exellent game and it should be on ure shelf or on your most wanted list it is a must have game trust me.
