When I first got my Xbox, I had to get Halo: Combat Evolved. After playing that for a while, I knew Halo 2 was going to be amazing. Several days after November 9th, 2004 I picked up my collector's edition of Halo 2 and popped it into my Xbox, and to this day I have rarely popped it out. Halo 2 delivers a fun, but somewhat disapointing single player and co-op mode with the absolute best online multiplayer mode to ever grace any console. If you have Xbox Live, you need Halo 2. If you don't have Xbox Live, get it and Halo 2. If you have Halo 2, get Xbox Live and join in to the insanity that is the online community. Custom games are the absolute best experience you can get with Halo 2. As the creator of the popular 'Halo Sims' gametype, I am a little biased, but this is a fantastic gametype and game for casual gamers as well as those who want to show off their skills. Buy Halo 2, you won't be sorry.
