OK so lets get this strait, this game was one of the most hyped games ever before it came out, so there was a ton of stress on Bungie to relate a loyal follow-up to arguable one of the Best games ever, Halo:CE. When the game came out there was tons of positive feedback but not without a large amount of negative feedback. Over the past few years the most prevalent complains of this game have been "crappy ending" and "cheaters and overall 'rotten apples' on xbox live". These 2 "letdowns" are hardly signifigant if you are actually thinking about the amount of time your going to spend playing this game on xbox live if you like shooters. Even when you get in a game with a rotten apple, there is still fun to be had, and if you cant get over them you can always quit and try again. The multiplayer is where this game shines so if you dont have xbox live you may in fact be let down because the single-player campaign, while fun, isnt all that long. It will probably take you around 10 hours if you dont rush through assuming you dont play on easy. That said the graphics in this game really show themselves when you are in a huge firefight with explosions everywhere. The gameplay is very very finely tuned for all situations and if you get into the xbox live portion of this game you will see this to a large extent. Overall this game is a wonderful acheviment and should be admired for the progress it makes in the online multiplayer on consoles genre
