Worth Playing The Multiplayer, Sad Campaigne
when i got off of work i rushed back home for a second round. to see if it was the late night that was clouding my judgement. surely enough i was right. every thing was the same. gun blazing, same enemies, same chief. But it was missing something to keep it sparked. The campaigned seems slow paced. the action is fast but the story line is slow and dull. nothing to keep you going and wanting to know what happens. I never finished the storyline. I got half way and stopped playing. i watch my brother play it and finish the campaigne, and the ending leaves you with "ugh" feeling of what the hell?.
In halo 2 many weapons are changed and new weapons were added. for example the pistol no longer has a scope. the rifle is a battle which does burst shots in three round, and has a scope. The rocket launcher has a lock on feature to lock onto vehicles. some new weapons are like the grunt gun (grenade launcher) alien sniper rifle, and the alien battle rifle.
The multiplayer is the gold. Online or offline. The multiplayer is awesome. you can customize your own emblem, color, and even create a clan online. The games played online are run through "matchmaking". which means you choose a game mode to playin and the server finds you opponents at your skill level to compete against. there are so many game types and returning old ones, like slayer, capture the flag, new ones include assault and many more.
Overall this game is not good because of the campaigne. and it brings it back up for the multiplayer. If your going to buy this game, make sure you have xbox live (just to be safe).
