Halo2 is a great game with barely any flaws, but it is still overrated and not very unique compared to other sci-fi fps.

The first halo was a very good game, but easily became overrated because people had never seen a first person shooter on this type of generation before, because halo came out right when xbox came out, so it rose to the top because there werent any other fps shooters to compare it to on consoles. It is good value, and provides plenty of fun, but lacks unique qualities. The enemies and maps are very easy to accomplish, and this game isnt very tactical when it comes to aiming and techniques. Most weapons are point and shoot weapons, which a few exceptions such as the sword. The game is just too easy basic. I can go on xbox live and find 10 and 11 year old kids playing. But overall, halo 2 is good fun.

If I was looking for a great online experience or even single player first person shooter game, id go with half life 2.
