A lot of people would say that Halo: Combat Evolved is better than Halo 2, but I have to disagree. Halo 2 doesn't take anything away or add anything that's bad. All it did from the first one is make a few improvements. Halo 2 has all of the same enemies as Halo: Combat Evolved, but just added some new tough enemies. Also in Halo 2 the cut scenes are improved and the graphics are better. Another addition from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 2 is that you can double wield weapons, holding one in each hand. New weapons were also added, some for and by the new enemies. You do missions switching between being Master Chief and an Elite. In those missions you do different things. The campaign mode will take you about 6-8 hours. After you beat the game, but you CAN do it before you beat the game, is either play against some of your friends competetively, or play a Co-Op campaign mode and go through the campaign with your friends. Overall, Halo 2 is not a step back from Halo: Combat Evolved or just the same, but is a small step forwards to make it a little better. If you liked Halo: Combat Evolved, you may not like this because of the 2 different missions with the Elite and Master Chief but other than that, there are good improvements and you should go out and get it.
