Gameplay [9] Pros: - Multiplayer is fully realized .. and infinity of gametypes, and rather decent maps. The potential of X-Box Live is put to full use here as well -- revolutionary matchmaking system and clan support. Cons: - Single player is about on par with the first game ... Cons: - ... Which may leave you feeling bitter because of all the hype, especially when they throw a cliffhanger ending at you. - Minor Balance issues and overall lack of multiplayer maps. There's little more than 10 all together. Graphics [9] Pros: - Gorgeous lighting effects, textures, and models. - Much steadier frame rate this time around. Cons: - Textures popping in and out at certain distances and / or during cutscenes. Sound [10] Pros: - Still one of the best soundtracks in the industry, especially with the help of Incubus and Breaking Benjamin. - Very believable sound effects. Cons: - Not quite as bassy as the first game. Value [9] Pros: - Multiplayer (if supported well by Bungie) will consume for life for weeks or even months, depending on your gaming style and habits. Cons: - Disappointing single player game is over far too quickly. Beat it in 5-10 hours and never touch it again. Tilt [10] Pros: - I'll never play another X-Box live game again. Cons: - Or another campaign of Halo. Overall: 9.1
