Halo 2 was talked about and anticpated for over two years. It's release date was delayed at least 10 times but on November 9, 2004 it was finally released. The Good- The core gameplay for Halo 2 is just phemonenal. The controls work just right and there's nothing you would wish was part of the game that isn't. The graphics are very sleek with top of the line cutscenes and FMV sequences. The sound is what you would expect. Every bullet noise, explosion, and Covenant battle cry is exactly what it should be. You will be playing Halo 2 for years to come- probably until Halo 3 rolls around- and the endless possibilities for multiplayer and single player will keep you coming back. The Bad- Um.... Uh.... Hmmm..... Let's see.... The assault pistol got down-graded quite a bit and, well that's about it. So as I have said before, Halo 2 will be sitting in your Xbox for probably about six months straight (unless you got the Collecter's Edition and watch the bonus DVD) and with tons of gameplay modes it'll never bore you. Is Halo 2 the best game ever? Well, not quite but it is pretty dang good.
