Halo: ODST, Finally out, After being one of the most anticipated games of the year, Is it really worth the wait?

Well the answer is no, Especially for me, Now I'm not a big fan of halo, I've played a small part of the first one, Played the 3rd one various times, So I pretty much know the outline of the story, Now with ODST it gives you a chance too play as some new characters, instead of Master Chief and what not.

Now, According too my best mate (Who happen's too be as much of a fan of Halo as I am too Resident Evil), told me that Halo: ODST takes place in Halo 2, So I'll take his word for it, Now I think its great when Game's go back too plot holes they may have missed, or put the player into another characters shoes, and a completely different storyline, So it starts off with you and your team being dispatched too earth in drop pods, but it goes wrong and all of the Drop Pod's go into different locations.

You end up starting off as the rookie, who like Master Chief, is a mute, you end up in Mombasa Streets, and you have too go around the streets looking for your team, finding clues that your team may have left, such as a teammates helmet or they're backpack, and that's what the game pretty much is, going around the place like a lost puppy, looking for clues while avoiding or killing the Covenant Patrols that went too investigate the drop pods.

Now a thing I like is the health, if you get shot in the face a few times, you can't just hide and wait for your health too rise back up, you have too look for health packs, which are rare too come across, which raises the games difficulty, but the if you come across a few Covenant, your health will drop like the- errm, The drop pods at the begining of the game!

Now a thing everybody is moaning about is the graphics, I think they're nice, they say how its too much like Halo 3's graphics, but could someone tell me whats wrong with that? The Halo 3 graphics were really awesome, and it didn't do any different in ODST.

Now a new thing is Firefight, which is Halo's version of Gears Of War's Horde Mode, Or Call Of Duty's Nazi Zombies, now, you can play with up too 4 players and just kick some Convenant ass! But the only trouble is I can't say much about this since I've only played Firefight 3 times, And needless too say, I sucked at it.

Now a thing that's missing, Is Matchmaking, Forge and Custom Games, You may be thinking:
"WHAT THE HELL!? WHAT'S HALO WITHOUT MATCHMAKING OR FORGE! THINK ABOUT THE FORGE!!!!!"
But Bungie have made up for it with Halo 3: ODST's Multiplayer experience disk, which will come with any version of Halo 3: ODST, it's pretty much Halo 3's Multiplayer, with all the map packs (Legendary, Mythic and Heroic) and with new exclusive maps that you can't buy, Longshore, Citadel and Heretic have been thrown onto the disk, Now, Halo 3 Multiplayer Experience includes all of Halo 3's Multiplayer Modes, Forge, Theater, Custom Games and Matchmaking are still there.

Now it's time too sum up Halo 3: ODST, It's a fun game at first, but once you've played it, you've pretty much finished it and the only thing that should keep you playing are the Firefight Mode and Vidmaster Achievements. Overall I'm going too give this game a 6/10, They tried, and didn't get the cookie, You could consider it an experiment from Bungie, But then again, Halo: Reach is coming out in a years time, So let's get prepared!
