Halo 3 was the bomb. But if your new to the Halo serise or loved Halo 3 the don't get your hopes up with this game.

User Rating: 6.5 | Halo 3: ODST X360
Halo 3: ODST looks like a good game because it has Halo 3 in the title. But this game is at the most 50% like Halo 3.
Problem number 1: Your playing as "The Rookie", an ODST trooper. This means that you don't have that kick ass Spartan armor for Halo 1,2, and 3. Which mean that you can't rush into a group of aliens with you SMG and expect to feel the a bad ass.
Problem number 2: For some unknown reason Bungie took of a few weapons the made the Halo trilogy the success that it is. My favorite weapons in Halo 3 were: the Energy Sword, Assault Rifle and Gravity Hammer. In Halo ODST they took out the Elites mean the there are no Energy Swords. Damn. The main weapon is Halo 3 was the Assault Rifle. In ODST the main weapon is the Silent SMG. The only time you see the Assault Rifle is during the flashback. But of the plus side they keep the Gravity Hammer.
Problem number 3: The campaign is to damn short. If to place the difficulty at Easy the game will last only 3 hour. But is you place it at medium it lasts 6 hours. And like the campaign this problem is short.
Problem number 4: This game doesn't have a multi player. When yo buy the game you get two DVDs. The campaign and the multi player. But the multi player is just like Halo 3 multi player. The only change is that they added a few maps that to can download of XBOX Live. But I guess Bungie tried to make up for that by adding the Firefight Mode.
Understand this. I don't hate the game. Its just that the fun doesn't last as long as it should. The campaign is as good a Halo 3 but it doesn't last as long as it should. I just what I'm trying to say is I don't think the game is worth the $60.
