Simply a fun and immersing game

Everyone knows that all Halo games have the exact same core mechanics. Halo 3 is complete with dual-wielding that was introduced in Halo 2 along with a new grenade option, and many new vehicles and weapons. Rare with Xbox 360 games, Halo 3 has campaign co-op which is your only hope to defeat the game on its Legendary difficulty. The new grenade, weapons, and vehicle options all tie in with the game perfectly. My personal favorite new weapon is the Laser. As soon as your enemy sees the initial aiming laser, they know it's already too late and it's especially deadly to vehicles. There's just something great about hunting down that damn warthog that is slaughtering your team and blow it to smithereens, instantly killing all passengers and rendering the vehicle useless.

The online play is just what you would expect from Halo, however experience and ranks play a huge role in how you level-up, and who you play with. The online maps are extremely fun and various and the new map pack includes some very engaging new areas. There are so many combination of game types and maps available that it is sure to please anyone and everyone. At the end, online play is the reason to buy, beat, and keep playing this game.

The only negative about this game is the graphics. The game is beautiful, but I find it not as sharp or up to par with what a next-gen game, especially Halo, should look like. However, this little complaint does not and should not deter you away from this game. Buy it, and have fun.
