i am not a great fan of the halo series ( halo and halo 2 ), but to be frank this one made me love halo for the first time. it is a top notch quality shooter with some amazing battles, great visuals, sound effects, easy and non stop action, good story,etc. the one thing i noticed and loved is the elaborate battle scenes, with plenty of characters with rich details, great vehicles, unique weapons, top quality graphics for the environment. but the sad part is nothing was there in the game that will actually make you sit tight on your seats. it isnt gripping or haunting, its just a normal plain fun fps, with already the hype of being great that you are bound to buy the game if you are a xbox 360 user, but will be disappointed to have seen nothing to be actually talked about. every element that makes a game great is there in halo 3 but when it all comes together the punch is lost and ends up with us not thinking much about all these minor factors. in short- great visuals, sound, great fun running and shooting in various locales, using vehicles and admiring the terrain, but get bored and somehow finish the game not to take it out of your shelf again for the campaign, unless you wanna play the multiplayer..
