Yes, yes, I'm sure you've heard it all by now... but this is still good!

No, seriously, I was a Ninty fanboy at one point too. I heard all this hype over the 360 and Halo and all these other games. I tell you, it takes a lot of convincing to get me to do something like buy this game. When one of my best friends got his 360, I figured I might as well at least keep him company online. So I bought one too, and Halo (as did he). Well, I was in for a surprise. Halo was ACTUALLY fun!

Wait. Is it really?

Well, I have to say... the multiplayer, matchmaking whatever... it's lacking (for Halo 3, at least). You see... it's more of a luck/reflexes kind of game. If you don't play online with friends, it's not much fun, for me, I guess. Not sure about everyone else in the world, however.

But... at least the campaign is killer! Nine missions that finished that fight! The end is... satisfactory, although definitely surprising.

RECAP (and a bit more info):

The graphics: wonderful!
The sound: nearly perfect!
The campaign: great!
The multiplayer: decent enough.
The controls: basic FPS, not new, but... it works.

I give it a: 9

Buy it if you like first-person-shooters. Definitely.
