Okay where to start. Okay this is the third Halo game. You play as masterchief who is the last remaining Spartan 117 soldier. The game takes place in the year 2552 anno domini. Basically the story goes that you are with the humans and Earth is under threat from two groups of aliens, the Covenant who are led by the Prophet of Truth and the flood who are basically a group of evil parasites that want to possess all life.The Prophet of Truth has an evil plan that involves firing the Halo rings which would destroy all sentient life and destroy the flood. Also, Earth's most advance AI system, Cortana is missing and is thought to be in the hands of the flood. It your quest to find Cortana and get the info she knows in order to stop the Covenant and the flood and destroy the Halo rings. Along the way you will team up with some unlikely allies (hint: remember the opening movie for Halo 2) Anyway the graphics are great and very detailed and realistic, the gameplay is fun and at times challenging. Also this game is a shooter, but it's not just button mashing you have to use some strategy, which makes the game more replayable. There is also a feature that automatically records each level you play, so you can watch it when you want. The multiplayer mode is good, you can go coop or two player matches or go online with up to 16 people (this is supposed to be the crown jewel of the game, but I don't have XBOX live, oh well). Also there is forge mode, which starts off with map levels, but you can modify the area by placing vehicles, weapons, terrain features (cans, boxes,&c) around the area. It is a wonderful game and the last campaign mission is a blast, I won't ruin the surprise but it involves driving (I remember playing this level at my cousin's house in Autumn of 2007 and we were rushing to beat it, because my parents were gonna take us to Stew Leonard's). Go get it and Play it!
