As I've already read EVERY Halo fan is going to Love this game Before they even get it! From an objective perspective this IS a good game, However, Halo 3 is NOT perfect! The graphics have been much improved since the Beta (of course!) but do NOT measure up to recent games like BioShock. The gameplay is very smooth and easy to pick up and go with. Gamers will enjoy the many online features which are also quite good. The story is well written and the actors do a nice job. I am also pleasantly surprised that MOST of the achievement points can be garnered SP! That is a BIG one for me as I have ALWAYS felt that online achievements deserve merit, but most are there to artificially inflate replay value!! Not so in Halo 3! What about this title is not perfect? Well, for one, I NEVER felt completely immersed! I must admit to not being one of the Halo die hard fans though! I enjoy ALL well made games for their various qualities (Gorgeous Graphics, Innovative Gameplay, Original Storyline etc...) and this is NO exception! I may have went into this game expecting More simply because of ALL the outside influence and, I hate this word but it fits, HYPE! The somewhat repetitive feeling environments and Underwhelming enemies kind of took a little away from Halo 3 for me. Also, and this is probably the biggest one, EVERY Non friends only match was ultimately ruined by the constant rambling and cussing of gamers NOWHERE near old enough to buy let alone be playing this game! Am I being too harsh? Maybe, maybe not. It's just hard to enjoy a match when its being spoiled by someone who either didn't or shouldn't be taking Ritalin! Ok, that was too harsh but hey, a LOT of you were thinking it! In closing, I would like to point out the obvious! The Halo faithful will absolutely love this game. Anyone who claims this game to be broken or terrible is just bashing for the sake of bashing! Quite a few gamers will enjoy this well made title But there are a LOT of VERY interesting titles coming our way in the near future! We all have our own preferences in entertainment. Microsoft is giving us Plenty of reasons to keep our 360s fired up including Halo 3!
