Finally the much anticipated Halo sequel. Much improved all around a better game than 2 or 1 previous titles

Finally released to the public. The Halo series stirred up a good amount of hype among those whom worship it. Many people waited in lines at 12 midnight at various locations later to find out the game wasnt even close to being sold out the first day. The third title was going to be a tall order for microsoft. Most of you halo freeks can agree that halo2 was a flop and most of us got dry humped by microsoft for 3 to come out in all its glory. I got my copy 4 days prior to release and here are my thoughts. The game starts out in the jungle and the first thing i noticed was the individually drawn blades of grass. the rest of the scenery detail was definetly looking great. I also noticed right away that the graphic effects such as grenade explosions and smoke had a great deal of detail. The new weapons were definetly a must and my favorite was the fixed machine gun turrets that can be unfixed with a touch of a button you unlock a great deal of firepower and very limited mobility. I would also like to add the overall detail of the rather large battlefield 2 type multiplayer maps that are made to work in the game as a working level in single player. My only gripe is the huge maps can be a task to find your way and getting lost is somewhat of an issue. I really favored the action with a great deal of Ai enemys who behave very aggressively. This is a huge plus because Ai in most any other game is completly worthless and buggy this is the first time i was impressed by Ai behavior. The vehicle control is smoothed out over halo 2 a great deal in the warthog. microsoft added some deadzone and turned down the sensativity.
I would also like to add the friendly Ai is very helpfull especially while driving the warthogg or mongoose vehicles. The firefights are truely one of a kind and the amount of action and the xbox 360 doesnt hiccup one bit running at 50 plus frames a second consistently. Microsoft has done it well on getting the performace out of the 360 this game is very complete.
