Now i know halo is one of the best FPS in gaming history, but i think bungie could have done a better job with it. The game starts out where the second one ended only this time the elite's are on your side and the brutes are the main enemy now. the story is great and makes you want to push further into the game to know whats going to happen next. the gameplay is as solid as ever, so playing the game is a blast. The multiplayer is one of the best and is even more fun then the single player, it even has 4 player co-op online. The music in this game is also fantastic, great tunes at just the right time, bungie knew what to do with the music. So what could be wrong with this game if the music, story, and gameplay is top notch? a bunch of things. First let me say this game does look good, but compared to other 360 and ps3 games, this games graphics pale in comparison. Its as if bungie just shined up all the weapons and people and added some lighting effects, not impressive. not to mention the environments don'y look very good, some look decent, but not great. Also there's alot of slowdown on the epic battles which takes away from the game. speaking of taking away from the game, the campaign itself is incredibly short. I beat it in 6 1/2 hours. and after your done with the single player, the multiplayer doesn't have as much content as i wished. Sure the game has new weapons, vehicles, and maps, but some of the weapons are useless and you'll want to replace them quickly, there are very few maps, even with the ability to forge all that can do is switch things up like moving spawn points and weapons. And to top it all off the graphics on multiplayer look somewhat worse than single player. In the end halo 3 is a great game, but it just seems like a few more hours of play and a few extra maps and vehicles, could have been an expansion pack. it's worth it for the fun, but not for the content.
