So the original Halo was great. Why did it sell so many copies? Because it attracted Casual Gamers. Why did it attract casual games? Because it was not complex. IN Halo 1 it was so easy to jump in and out of vehicles, shoot, and everything else. Halo 3 leans toward Halo 2 more in terms of gameplay. So Halo 3 is just too much. The whole 'dual-wielding' thing drags the game out, you can't just pick up a weapon and go. You have to find the 'perfect set' for mass destruction. When firing at someone, they have so many counter attacks instead of just shooting back. They can place a shield around them for an example which ruins the whole 'fun' part. You have to wait for it to deplete or go in there and get killed yourself.
Buy the game but you want get that 'fun' feeling you got in halo 1.
