Simply the greatest shooter and 360 game EVER, gears has lost its crown and must bow before the might of HALO 3

WOW is what i thought after completing the single player a good 12 hours after starting, and WOOOOOOOOOOOW is what i thought after 10 online games, and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW is what i yelled up high after designing my own mongoose race map on last resort in forge, and playing it online with friends. This game is just FANTASIC. The single player is long, exiting and with huge variations in missions, weapons, vehicles and AI. After almost crying at the end of Halo 2 when i didnt finish the fight, this makes up for it in bucketloads. The plot is good if a little confusing at times (p.s if you havent played halo 1 or 2 play em before you buy this), and every mission is fantastic exept no. 8 which is to repetitive (and what a surprise a flood level!). But Bungie makes up for this by having a fantastic end vehicle sequence which rubs away the bitter taste left by RAAM at the end of Gears. the ending is confusing, but acceptable. Multiplayer however is where this game plays best, and i cant see me ever needing to buy another multiplayer game again. I has varied maps, vehicles, equipment and weapons, all with their own pros and cons (and as you would expect from bungie, balanced to perfection), it also has the new forge mode which revolutionises the concept of map and content creating, and to top it all of the video viewer, which is the best and easiest way to create and watch your own short films. But in conclusion its the little perfect things that take this game from a 9.5 to a 10, things like the VETO system which lets you vote on what you play in the lobby, the igenious equipent which can create so many different scenereos, the customisable options in multiplayer and of course the ability to bow both humans and aliens for hours on end, thank god for Bungie.
