The biggest game in history, delivers on every front.

User Rating: 9.5 | Halo 3 X360
Let me start out by saying one thing, if you own a 360 buy Halo 3, if you don't own a 360 then go out buy a 360 and then get Halo 3. The single player campaign is mostly what you would expect out of Halo, its nine levels long filled with a great story that really puts an end to MasterChief's battle against the Brutes and the Flood. There are some new weapons that are really slick, but when Bungie made the pistol it just didn't turn out. There are also a few different grenades, and a new system of shields and energy drains that players pick up within the level that have specific abilities. The Bubble Shield is my personal favorite, and all of these really add more to the campaign and online components of the game. The single player really won't dissapoint a Halo fan, but may not satisfy a non Halo player at first.
The online is where Halo 3 absolutely shines. There are all the match types from Halo 3 and a few knew ones as well. There is up to four player Co-op online, which runs extremely smoothley, and I have had no problems. The co-op is best played on Legendary, all others are way too easy for four players to do. The competetive online is amazing, you can search for certain matches, and those are found very quickly and matches you to players who are closest to your skill level. All in all Halo 3 is an amazing game. While the single player campaign might feel weak to non Halo players, I think most Halo fans will not be dissapointed. Even if you don't expect to enjoy the single player, then simply go online and enjoy the greatness of Halo against or with other players.
