Hitting people with a big ****ing hammer has never been so fun...

Now, many of you know that I don't do reviews very often, much less give games AAA scores. But Halo 3...it's just something different... As this is my first truely enjoyable dive into the Halo universe, I am gladly surprised as the perfectness of Halo 3. I was horridly dissapointed with 2's cliffhanger ending and sloppy pace, so as I said, I was pleasantly surprised. The multiplayer is what I will divulge into first. Simpley great. Whether it's playing with my younger brother and uncle via splitscreen or throwing plasma grenades at people's crotches (a technique I have perfected) while yelling into the headset "Stickied!", is incredibly addictive. As many of you know, I have a refined taste, especially when it comes to my FPSes, but I can honestly say that Halo 3's multiplayer is the most fun I've had since playing Timesplitters:Future Perfect on my Gamecube a few years back. Doing crazy **** such as Bounching a grenade back and forth in a hallway with Gravity Hammers (The new best weapon ever) to teabagging people after I stick 'em with a Plasma grenade, has never been so fun. The single player was given a major upgrade all around. My marines now know that they can't take on a Brute Chief mano-a-mano, and still have witty comebacks (I got blown up by a plasma grenade and heard one of my men shout "You killed the Chief! You bastards!!"). It also has nutty moments that are completely non-scripted, and rely on A.I. alone. My marine started running around a rock in the first or second level, just as a grunt ran around in the opposite direction. They bumped into each other, the marine yelling "Hey!" and the grunt emmitting a high-pitched scream, then proceeding to get a plasma grenade to the crotch, courtesy of me(as you might have figured out, i love crotch-nadeing). The grunts will also have one liners and have the balls to say things like "I'll get you!" while running at you full speed with two grenades in their hands. Their one liners are just as great as the marines, with my favorite being "You killed the only grunt I ever loved!!" Pure genius, Bungie. Pure genius. I loved every minute of this game, and will continue to until November, then I'll have my time a bit constrained with all the new games coming out, but I'll still have time for a few online matches ;) Ohh! And the ending! What a beutiful way to finish a game! Chief...well look at that. I'm all out of room to write. See you all later and watch for another review from me. It might be a question on Jeopardy!
