Part of my amazement is due to the fact that I didn't buy an X-box 360 until Halo 3's debut. This made it the first game I played in 10-80i HD. But I digress, the game itself is a well designed FPS with a good pace of action & story. I especially enjoyed each Marine's commentary & the ability to rip turrets from their moorings. I was impressed with the animation & fluidity of the flood as they swarmed over an area. Also, the marines driving ability is much better than Halo 2, but still not perfect. All in all, it's a great game to while away a few minutes or a few hours.
