Although I don't own the xbox 360 ive played halo 1,2, and 3 enough to now that they are way too overrated. The single player campaign was decent and the graphics are way done, but if you compare it to the multiple award winning fps out there halo definitely doesn't come out on top. Granted, the multiplayer is well designed and its matching system works alright. The only problem is the skill level of the other multiplayer people goes from beginner and just skips onto extremely talented. Either you're playing multiplayer on Halo 3 and bought it just because everyone else seems to be buying it, or you really love this game and spend hours of your life each day playing it until you get really good. So, if you're a beginner, in each match you'll have a veteran who just seems to wipe the floor with all other players. The main attraction to me was defienitely forge. Place items and weapons, etc. on the field of battle and test it out. There was one thing that really ticked me off though. You are only limited to a certain amount of said item. You can't have the amazingly gigantic explosions because you can only put about 20 on the place at a time. I don't know whether having too many items in one place would cause the frame rate to lag, but with the xbox 360s power, i question why Bungie limited the items. It's a good game with original and great-quality features, but i believe it failed to live up to the immense hype mainly because, it wasn't that amazing a game in the first place.
